If you are a new student, come learn how to renew your scholarship for the next year. Times and locations are as follows:

Rose Bowl
Give young students, bussed in from innercity schools, a tour of the Rose Bowl: talk to them about college and life as a UCLA student. You receive service hours, lunch, a free t-shirt, and a free ticket (and transportation) to the game! RSVP at Fall Quarterly.
Community Involvement Fair
Wednesday, Oct. 8, 6 p.m.
James West Alumni Center
A casual activity fair meant to help you find a meaningful way to get hours done by Alumni Scholars connecting with the students of community-oriented service organizations. Please stop by anytime between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to check out the fair. We will also have a booth to decorate the ASC woodblock for Blue&Gold Week!

Intro to The Challenge

Come learn about The Challenge, a winter quarter competition where you can win up to thirty Alumni Association service hours and many other awards. Do you have what it takes?

Come learn about how you can earn Alumni Association service hours by returning to your high school and sharing information about how to apply for alumni scholarships.
Starry Starry Night Mixer
Presented by Bunche and CCTS Thursday, Nov. 6, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Come join us for a night under the stars as we mix and mingle and learn something about the heavens. Meet at JWAC and then we will whisk you upwards to the planetarium for our very own ASC night-time show. Friday, Nov. 7 Strengthen your Bruin Network by applying for an Alumni Mentor. Saturday, Nov. 8, 9:00 a.m. at JWAC
Rose Bowl
Meet in front of JWAC at 9:00 am if you are taking the buses. Football games starts at 3pm. Buses will leave Lot I at 6:30pm to bring students back to UCLA. If students are driving, meet at Rose Bowl Lot H at 11am. Give young students, bussed in from inner-city schools, a tour of the Rose Bowl: talk to them about college and life as a UCLA student. ASC Abroad

Thinking about studying abroad? Want to, but it just won't fit in with your course load? Are you the only one of your friends in the U.S. this quarter? Come to ASC Abroad and learn first-hand about various countries from ASCers who have studied abroad. Enjoy some traditional food, learn about country-specific cultures and customs, practice your language skills, and most importantly, meet some amazing scholars!

Fun For Finals - Yin-Yang: Calm or Insane!
Tuesday, Dec. 2, 5-7 p.m.

Everyone gets stressed for finals, but not everyone deals with stress in the same manner. Some of us like to have savage outbursts and kick the nearest object, while others want a massage, a quick bout of yoga, and some exfoliating cream. Whatever your method is this is the place and event to do it. Relaxing snack will also be provided.
