Shaye Blegen
Vice President
4th Year
Major(s): English

After gallivanting for a year in France and Australia, Shaye has decided to return to the land of Blue and Gold and reunite with her fellow Bruins and ASCers. After completing her degree in English Literature she hopes to pursue a career in education. Outside of ASC, she is involved with Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Societies and has volunteered with UCLA's Project Literacy. Shaye enjoys convincing her friends to be her sous-chefs, dancing like a maniac, wearing outrageous costumes, grooving to Broadway soundtracks and searching out delicious boutique coffee. She is also quite fond of naps which she likes to claim as a mild form of narcolepsy. She must admit, she is a devoted Glee fan and wishes she could publicly break out in song and dance on a daily basis!

Role

The Vice President assists the president with various duties and tasks. In the event of the President's absence the vice president fills in. The vice president coordinates activities and events for the ASC Scholarship fund. He or she also plans and implements the My Last Lecture Award Event.
