As an Alumni Scholar, you have access to an amazing network of alumni who are eager to meet you and share their wisdom and advice about life beyond UCLA. The Alumni Relations Committee works to provide unique opportunities for you, the student, to interact with prominent alumni. They are an invaluable resource on majors, careers, grad school, and so much more! During this 2008-2009 school year, the Alumni Mentor Program sponsored six large events to foster bonding between alumni and their student mentees. Through events such as Feast on Foot, Mocktail Party, Sugar Rush: A Night of Speed Networking, and Dinner and a Show, alumni and students were able to establish connections that extended beyond the UCLA campus.

"What was most surprising about my mentor, Branden, was how approachable he was. Getting together was always casual and fun, but also informative. I feel comfortable asking for help with any professional I need, and I've even gotten some other help not regarding jobs and careers." -David Grometer
"My mentor turned out to be an awesome guy who shares a lot of my personal interests and my Bruin pride! We listened to a speaker on Climate Change in Business Strategy, and he took my to listen to John Wooden speaj at the John Wooden Global Leadership Award Ceremony! My mentor has been nothing but supportive and fun and I can see myself staying in contact with him for years to come." -Justin Manduke
